Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a skilled Standing Forklift Operator with deep reach experience to join our warehouse team in Santa Ana, CA. The role focuses on safely moving, locating, stacking, and counting merchandise in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will operate a standing reach forklift, load/unload, stage products, inspect equipment, and maintain accurate inventory while following safety guidelines and union guidelines. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2+ years of standing reach forklift experience.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution center, or logistics.
• Ability to work in narrow aisles and at elevated heights.

Responsabilités

• Operate standing reach forklift to move materials in the warehouse.
• Load, unload, pick, and stage products accurately.
• Safely place and retrieve pallets from high rack shelving.
• Perform routine equipment inspections before and after use.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via scanning and documentation.
• Follow safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
• Assist with general warehouse duties including packing and organizing inventory.
• Work in refrigerated storage area.

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Standing Forklift Operator with deep reach (reach truck) experience to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely moving, locating, stacking, and counting merchandise while operating a standing reach forklift in a fast-paced distribution environment. Flexible to work on weekends and this is a union position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a standing reach (deep reach) forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Load, unload, pick, and stage products accurately and efficiently
• Safely place and retrieve pallets from high rack shelving
• Perform routine equipment inspections before and after use
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper scanning and documentation
• Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and company procedures
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and organizing inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Able to work in a refrigerated storage area

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2+ years of experience operating a standing reach forklift (deep reach required)
• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment
• Ability to work in narrow aisles and at elevated heights
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time during the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environments
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
