ODW Logistics, Inc. is seeking a 1st shift Forklift Operator in Romeoville, IL to efficiently complete the order fulfillment process. Responsibilities include material handling, forklift operation, labeling, staging and shipping under direction.

Requirements include forklift experience, ability to case pick and lift up to 50 pounds, and passing drug/background checks. Cold storage warehouse work is required, with overtime and weekend potential.

Description

The 1st shift Forklift Operator holds the responsibility for the accurate and efficient completion of the defined order fulfillment process, which may include material handling, equipment operation, transportation, selection, identification, verification, placement, staging, labeling, and shipping of required product as directed.

• Must have previous Forklift experience.
• Must be able to case pick and lift heavy objects repeatedly during the entire shift (up to 50 pounds)
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must be able to work in a Cold Storage Warehouse.

Physical & Mental Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee requires the ability to:

Hear, read and comprehend, write, and communicate

• Continuously sit, type, and perform repetitive wrist motion
• Occasionally stand, walk, bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn or reach
• Working in a Cold Storage Warehouse.
• Focus (with or without corrective lenses) to see close and distant, along with depth perception capabilities
• Moderate overtime and occasional weekend work
• Lift up to 50 pounds consistently entire shift
• Work various shifts on short notice
• Spend 95% of time on warehouse floor in fast-paced environment
