Job summary

Crunch Pak, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to move, dump and handle apple bins, unload and inspect products, and ensure compliance with safety standards. You will operate a forklift, assist in inventory, and support team objectives in a cold warehouse environment.

Starting pay: $20.50/ hour + shift differential

Summary/Objective:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, dump and consume apple bins. This position is also responsible for unloading, inspecting, tagging, and preparing Crunch Pak product for receipt and ensuring all products meet the requirements and specifications for each order. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Must be able to work in a physically demanding position - bend, kneel, twist, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb ladders, and reach above shoulders repeatedly most of the workday.

• Able to assist in the training of new employees.
• Able to cover for other positions when needed.
• Available to participate in month end or quarter end inventory to count packaging/ingredients.
• Perform daily forklift checks at the beginning of every shift.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Operate forklift in a safe and productive matter.
• Perform accurate daily finished goods inventory.
• Adhere to all Crunch Pak safety standards, guidelines and GMP rules. Reflective vests must be worn while operating forklifts outside.
• Check the accuracy of pallet tickets, description on boxes, and the accuracy of date tags vs. date of production.
• Unload, inventory, and tag all additives received on the shipping dock.
• Keep unloading zones clean and organized.
• Perform monthly Chep counts.
