Resumen

As a Forklift Operator, you'll load and unload trailers with wooden pallets and move pallets inside our plants to keep manufacturing production moving efficiently. We're looking for a motivated individual who will keep things moving at a safe and efficient pace.

Hourly Pay: $21.00/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 4:00 pm - 12:00 am

Location: Northampton, PA, 18067

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or storage areas safely.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction is preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Work Environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions, including elements, heat, cold, and air particulates.
• Repetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds and operate a forklift for entire shifts.
• Use of PPE required (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes).
• Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision.
