Job summary

CRH is seeking a Forklift Operator in North Salt Lake, UT to move product into inventory and load trucks, with emphasis on safe operation and accurate labeling.

You will rotate goods, ensure packaging integrity, and complete daily paperwork. Must have HS diploma or GED, forklift certification, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (minimum) and at least 1 year related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret loading slips, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• General computer skills; experience with ERP systems, tablets and scanners preferred.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
• Mathematical skills including units of measure.
• Able to work any shift and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Team player with manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely to move product into inventory and onto/off trucks.

• Label and package product for inventory.
• Verify packaging quantities and quality standards.
• Load trucks with finished product for delivery.
• Ensure pallets and packaging are safe for shipment.
• Complete Daily paperwork including inspection reports for equipment.

Job Summary

Operate Forklift Safely to move product into inventory/onto and off a truck.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure proper rotation and placement of finished goods
• Properly label product and package product for inventory
• Ensure packaged quantities are correct and quality is up to standards
• Load trucks with the finished product for delivery
• Before loading product for shipment ensure packaging and pallet are safe and adequate for shipment
• Complete Daily paperwork including inspection reports for equipment

Job Requirements

• At least a High school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 1 year of related work experience
• Ability to read and interpret loading slips, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• General computer skills or experience working with ERP systems including tablets and scanners preferred
• Follow all safety procedures
• Ability to carry out instructions, both written and oral
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and understanding of units of measure
• Ability to work any shift
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Forklift Certified
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
