Job summary

Pay: $23.17 per hourLocation: North Brookfield, MAShift: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pmWe currently have an opening for a forklift driver for our distribution depot in North Brookfield, MA. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in distribution or transportation, be able to work independently, enjoy customer service and have high attention to detail. Position: Forklift Operator will work in collaboration with other forklift operators, truck drivers, and general laborers in order to achieve performance goals. This individual will work in a team to load and unload vehicles, while safely utilizing forklifts to complete tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift to load and unload products from commercial vehicles and put away finished goods.
• Receive and physically inspect products to ensure quality standards.
• Bring consumables to the production areas as needed
• Always maintain equipment in an operating function and cleaned at the end of each shift.
• Partners with the yard supervisor to handle discrepancies, malfunctions, and potential issues.
• Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Collaboratively works with team to take on additional duties as needed
