Job summary

ARROTIN PLASTICS MATERIALS OF INDIANA INC is seeking a full-time, on-site Forklift Operator at our New Haven, IN facility. You will safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse and production areas, and collaborate with shipping, receiving, and production teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Daily duties include receiving shipments, staging materials, preparing products for shipping, and packing as needed.

Qualifications

Role Description This full-time, on-site Forklift Operator role is based at our New Haven, IN facility. The Forklift Operator will safely operate forklifts and related equipment to move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. Daily tasks include receiving incoming shipments, staging and organizing materials, preparing products for shipping, and assisting with packing and labeling as needed. The role requires maintaining clear aisles and storage areas, following safety and quality procedures, and accurately documenting material movements. The Forklift Operator will collaborate with shipping, receiving, and production team members to ensure timely and efficient material flow.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Forklift Operation skills, including safe driving, loading, stacking, and maneuvering in warehouse and production environments.
• Candidates should possess Shipping & Receiving skills, including checking documentation, verifying counts, and coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Candidates should possess Material Handling skills, including organizing inventory, moving raw materials and finished goods, and using pallet jacks or related equipment.
• Candidates should possess Unloading and Packing skills, including breaking down loads, preparing orders, labeling, and protecting materials for transport.
• Working knowledge of warehouse safety practices and ability to follow company procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required, and stand or walk for extended periods in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Attention to detail, basic math and recordkeeping skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting and a valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one) are preferred.
