Job Description

Novo is seeking reliable, motivated, and team-oriented individuals to join our Warehouse Team. This position is within a fast-paced warehouse environment in Sparks, Nevada. We offer competitive compensation and opportunities for growth.

Job Duties

1. Operate forklift, including moving products and loading/unloading materials onto trailers.
2. Collect and stage orders to be shipped.
3. Perform general warehouse responsibilities such as maintaining cleanliness and organization of shelving, pallet area, and work stations; sweep and/or mop floors.
4. Maintain high standards of safety throughout operations.
5. Assist in inventory control activities including recording of materials shipped and counting of physical inventory.
6. Assist other Team Members with day-to-day operations as needed and directed.
7. Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
8. Comply with established policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

1. One (1) year of experience operating a forklift.
2. Strong knowledge of warehouse work instructions, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
3. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
4. Ability to lift, move, and transport up to 50 pounds.
5. Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods or for the duration of shift (8-12 hour shifts).
6. Ability to work rotating day/night, 8-12 hour shifts, as applicable.
7. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds and levels of management.
8. Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude towards Team Members and customers.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and/or under stressful situations.
10. Ability to proactively problem solve.

Applicants Must

1. Have reliable transportation.
2. Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
3. Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
4. Be willing to submit to a background check and urinalysis drug screen (upon offer of employment).

Additional Requirement

• Current forklift certification preferred (but not required).

Education Requirement

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, preferred.

Compensation

• Hourly (paid weekly via Direct Deposit).
• Overtime opportunities (overtime pay is equal to 1.5 times the Team Member's regular hourly rate of pay, for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek).
