Job summary

National Beef Packing Company LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator in Moultrie, Georgia. This is a safety sensitive, on-site position requiring safe forklift driving history and knowledge of all associated safety procedures.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the meat industry and must be able to work 12-hour shifts. We offer a variety of benefits, including company paid life insurance and 401(K) with company match.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift safely in congested areas.
• Store products over-head safely.
• Rotate products on a daily basis.
• Follow food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities

• Must have safe forklift driving history
• Must be able to drive forklift in congested areas
• Must be able to store products over‑head safely
• Responsible for properly rotating products on a daily basis
• Must have knowledge of all lock‑out and forklift check sheets
• Must know all loading procedures
• Employees are responsible for following all food safety/Good Manufacturing Practices requirements
• Must wear all required PPE
• Must be trained in and understand all associated safety procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
• Must be able to complete the requirements to become certified in forklift operations
• Assigned work in other areas as needed

This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on‑site position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the meat industry preferred but not required.
• Previous experience operating a forklift preferred; if previous forklift operator experience, must have safe forklift operation history
• Must be available to work 12‑hour shifts

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
