Job summary

A leading producer of beef products is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager in Moultrie, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background and ensure compliance with employment laws while fostering positive employee relations. Responsibilities include payroll administration, benefits management, and managing recruitment processes. Candidates should possess a degree in HR or equivalent experience, along with at least 2 years in HR. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; able to communicate clearly and concisely
• Bilingual capability is very desirable

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all State and Federal Employment laws.
• Foster positive employee relations and resolve issues.
• Oversee Corporate Employment Practices.
• Administration of benefits (including insurance, vacations, personal days and sick days, FMLA, and leaves of absence)
• Ensure compliance with established policies and practices
• Oversee Corporate Employment Practices (Affirmative Action, I-9 and immigration regulations)
• Coordinate hiring: recruitment efforts, interview process, new hire orientation, exit interviews
• Coordinate job postings, bidding process, and transfers
• Manage other HR projects and assist HR Manager as needed
• HR Trainer duties and coverage in absences
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

Assistant Human Resources Manager responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Ensure the plant is in full compliance with all State and Federal Employment laws
• Foster positive employee relations and participate in the resolution of issues as they arise
• Payroll and all related reporting
• Administration of benefits (including insurance, vacations, personal days and sick days, FMLA, and leaves of absence)
• Ensure compliance with established policies and practices
• Oversee Corporate Employment Practices

• Arrange & coordinate hiring process

Qualifications

Qualified candidates for the Assistant Human Resources Manager position should possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered in place of a degree
• 2+ years of HR experience; supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. including Excel, Word, and Power-Point
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Must be highly organized and able to multitask in a timely and professional manner
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
• Must be able to bring high energy and urgency to the performance of assigned tasks
• Must be able to work at a sustained and fast pace while producing quality work
• Must have good training skills
• Bilingual capability is very desirable
