Qualifications

• Forklift certification or training is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts or other equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or production facility.
• Safely pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Assist in managing inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in proper locations within the warehouse; conduct cycle counts and audits as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on forklift and other equipment as necessary.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including safe operation of forklifts, and report hazards or incidents immediately.
• Complete all required documentation, such as shipping and receiving logs, accurately and promptly.
• Work closely with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Participate in training programs and stay up-to-date with safety regulations and industry best practices

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, and stack products. They will also ensure that operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts or other equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or production facility.
• Safely pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality. Handle materials in a manner that prevents damage.
• Assist in managing inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in proper locations within the warehouse. Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on forklift and other equipment as necessary
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the safe operation of forklifts, and report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
• Complete all required documentation, such as shipping and receiving logs, accurately and promptly.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
