Description

Objective

Mack Industries is looking for a certified and experienced forklift operator who is capable of safely operating within areas such as production areas and yard.

Essential Functions

1. Work collaboratively with supervision to complete the scheduled shipping, receiving, loading, organizing, and moving of materials and product.
2. Assist drivers in delivery preparation by ensuring correct product and materials and equipment are correctly and safely loaded and coordinate with load sheets.
3. Safely and effectively place loads in accordance to weight requirements and positioning for safe transportation and/or storing within the yard.
4. Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance on equipment and tools and report issues to supervision.
5. Safely move materials and products throughout production and yard.
6. Willingness to develop new skills and progress current skills in pump station system installation.
7. Willingness to assist other departments as needed.

Requirements

Education and Training

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Certified Forklift operator required.
3. Years of experience can replace educational experience.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Minimum 1 year experience preferred.
2. Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
3. Basic equipment maintenance a plus.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Environment Conditions and Physical Strain

1. Construction environment, seasonal weather conditions.
2. Due to the nature of the operation, the levels of noise, dust, and dirt can be high.
3. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, on occasion.
4. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
5. Must be able to squat, crawl, and kneel to complete tasks.
