Gladding McBean in Lincoln, CA, is a manufacturer of vitrified clay pipe for sewers, clay roof tile, piazza clay floor tile, glazed terra cotta pottery, architectural terra cotta, sacked mortar clay, chimney tops and caps. Compensation: $18 - $21/hour, Depending on Qualifications and Experience

Role Overview:

Under the supervision of the Administrative Manager and Yard Supervisor, this role involves loading and unloading trucks, staging pre-loads/will calls, yard organization and cleanup, receiving products including returns and stock transports, and operating forklifts. The position supports our core values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation, and Financial Success. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with shipping and receiving to ensure accurate loading/unloading and inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with the Yard Supervisor and personnel regarding truck schedules, yard organization, and safety issues.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, maintaining proper knowledge of all equipment.
• Keep a daily log of damaged products, report issues to the Supervisor.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety regulations, reporting hazards promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area according to company standards.
• Attend on-the-job training sessions.
