Job description

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for Forklift Truck Operator jobs. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This role is responsible for the efficient transportation, storage, and handling of raw materials, packaging components, finished goods, and intermediates. It plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, inventory accuracy, and compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and site safety protocols. The successful candidate will operate forklifts, manage documentation, and support both routine and non-routine material movement across domestic and international sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Transport, store, and deliver raw materials and packaging components to support manufacturing and packaging operations.
  2. Receive, store, pick, transfer, and destroy materials as needed, maintaining inventory accuracy.
  3. Process and ship materials (finished goods and intermediates) to both domestic and international Haleon sites.
  4. Handle non-productive material receipts and outbound non-routine shipments.
  5. Use electric forklift to load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all material movement and transactions.
  7. Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity.
  8. Comply with all applicable cGMP, SOPs, and CSPs.
  9. Maintain facility security across all operating locations (Harbor, CME, Warf).
  10. Participate actively in safety procedures and provide feedback on safety, quality, and waste reduction improvements.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Availability from Monday to Sunday with 2 days off during the week.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain urgency in task execution.
  • Proficiency in data entry with accuracy and speed.
  • Experience operating electric forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and good documentation practices (GDP).
  • Prior experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and cycle count procedures.

  • 2nd Shift 2: 3:30 pm to 11:00 pm - $22.00 per hour
