DHL Supply Chain in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to load/unload, stock, and stage products in a fast-paced warehouse. You will use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks, with safety as a priority and accuracy in inventory.

The shift is first shift, 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday, with a pay rate of $20 per hour. This role requires forklift experience and relevant certifications or training within 30 days of hire.

• Forklift operator certification or completion of forklift training within the first 30 days.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload shipments and move stock within the warehouse.
• Operate stand-up, sit-down, clamp forklifts or electric pallet jacks as needed.
• Keep safety and OSHA/MSDS standards in daily work.
• Assist with inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report variances.
• Collaborate with team to meet productivity targets.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and battery changes as required.

Position: Forklift Operator

Shift: First Shift

Hours: 7am-4pm

Days: Monday-Friday

Pay: $20 per hour

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack; a minimum of 1 year experience case picking by hand

Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 6 months operating stand up forklifts; 6 months operating sit down forklifts

Role Purpose:

What will you do in this role? Our Forklift Operators are responsible for moving stock from one area to another within our warehouse environment. You’ll load and unload shipments of various sizes, and you may use certain types of equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks.Our environment is team oriented, fast paced and safety focused. Key Accountabilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience
