Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The role focuses on case picking to pallet using an electric pallet jack in a fast-paced environment, with safety and accuracy to LMS standards.

You’ll cross-train in loading/unloading shipments and operating equipment such as stand‑up, reach, clamp forklifts, and other power equipment, with opportunity to grow inside the company. 1st shift: Mon-Fri 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; pay $18.00/hour plus attendance and performance

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The core responsibilities of this role include: We are seeking a motivated Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The primary responsibility will be case picking orders to pallet using an electric pallet jack in a fast-paced environment. Performance is measured against production standards within our Labor Management System (LMS).

You’ll have the opportunity to cross-train in other warehouse functions, including loading/unloading shipments and/or operating equipment such as dock stockers, reach trucks, and clamp trucks.

Position: Forklift Operator
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM –; 2:30 PM)
Pay: $18.00/hour
Additional Incentives: Attendance bonus and Performance bonus

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: 6+ months experience operating stand‑up material handling equipment (electric pallet jack required; dock stocker, reach, clamp, or order picker experience a plus). Prior exposure to a WMS (Warehouse Management System) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, or SAP. Experience in production, manufacturing, quality control, or general warehouse operations. Ability to work efficiently in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Role Purpose:

What will you do in this role? Our Forklift Operators are responsible for moving stock from one area to another within our warehouse environment. You’ll load and unload shipments of various sizes, and you may use certain types of equipment such as stand‑up, sit‑down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks.Our environment is team oriented, fast paced and safety focused.
