Job summary
SRI Ohio, Inc. is seeking a safety-conscious Forklift Operator to move products, pallets, and materials across multiple buildings in our warehouse facility. You will support production, shipping, and receiving by delivering materials and ensuring shipments are ready for dispatch.
The role requires attention to inventory accuracy, proper use of forklifts, and adherence to established procedures for safe handling and transport of materials in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year forklift experience in a warehouse.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely.
- Accurate completion of receiving/shipping documentation.
Responsibilities
- Review product dossiers to ensure correct delivery to production lines.
- Load and unload trucks; complete receiving/shipping reports and trailer inspections.
- Deliver good, shippable pallets to production lines and move between buildings.
- Move dunnage and equipment as requested.
- Count inventory and ensure pallets meet quality standards.
- Ensure loads are secure using stabilizers (airbags, load locks, straps).

Forklift Operators report to the Warehouse Manager and are responsible for safely moving product, supplies, pallets, and equipment throughout the warehouse, production areas, and SRI Ohio, Inc.'s three buildings. The position supports production, shipping, and receiving by delivering materials to production lines, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring finished pallets are clean, secure, and suitable for shipment.
This position requires dependable, safety-focused work around team members and visitors, attention to product identification and inventory counts, accurate completion of receiving and shipping records, and a professional attitude. Operators must keep forklifts, docks, and warehouse areas clean and follow established procedures when handling and transporting materials.

Review and understand product dossiers to ensure the correct product is delivered to each production line.

Load and unload trucks; complete receiving and shipping reports, including trailer inspections.

Deliver only good, shippable pallets to production lines as needed and move pallets between all three buildings.

Move dunnage from various locations and move equipment upon request.

Count bottles, pallets, and boxes to support accurate inventory; ensure finished pallets are clean, safe, and meet customer quality expectations.

Ensure loads are secure and stable and use appropriate stabilizing materials, including airbags, load locks, and straps.

Performs other duties as assigned.
All necessary and/or required training will be administered by appropriate SRI Ohio, Inc. personnel. Powered industrial truck operation must be limited to employees who have received required training and authorization, and training records will be maintained on file.
