Job description

Position Summary

Unloads incoming materials and stages them in the designated area. Picks and verifies products for shipping. Loads products onto trucks and prepares necessary paperwork. Pulls materials for panel saw and molder. Clears packing line as required. Operates stand-up and sit-down industrial forklifts to transport materials and products within the plant.

Essential Job Functions

1. Operates stand-up and sit-down powered forklifts to move skidded materials.
2. Follows all production system inventory rules.
3. Accurately interprets instructions.
4. Pulls or gathers completed orders from racks.
5. Loads and unloads materials from trucks.
6. Verifies skid package information.
7. Consolidates products by order onto racks.
8. Performs minor preventative maintenance on equipment.
9. Performs tasks to maintain production system flow.
10. Operates non-powered hand forklift to move skidded materials.
11. Uses tape measure accurately.
12. Operates powered hand forklift to move skidded materials.
13. Organizes and sets up panels and framing.
14. Prepares or stages materials for future operations.
15. Creates and implements process improvements.
16. Trains other employees in specific operations.
17. Meets production or piece count requirements consistently.
18. Uses small hand tools as necessary.
19. Participates in team activities and fosters unity.
20. Prints and applies barcode labels to products.
21. Maintains accurate inventory counts.
22. Bands, stretch wraps, or packages final products.
