Job summary

Radius Recycling in Kansas City, MO is seeking a dedicated worker to help maintain safe, efficient production in the store and yard. You will stage vehicles, transport them between areas, and perform daily loader inspections while following safety rules and environmental guidelines.

Ideal candidates can read and follow written and verbal instructions, multitask with minimal supervision, and adapt to flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Must attend retraining classes annually that meet company standards and expectations.
• Must successfully complete the Chemical Hazards Training program.
• Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Insure work area is a safe environment at all times.
• Ability to carry out verbal / written material tasks under minimum supervision.
• Perform daily inspections on loader.
• Staging vehicles, which includes, transporting the vehicles to and from the staging area.

Marginal Functions:

• Knowledge and experience in the Auto Dismantling Industry.
• Prior experience in operating a Loader or similar equipment A +.

Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:

• Sitting, walking, bending, stretching are required regularly to perform job function, production, and environmental/safety responsibility functions.
• Able to sit for 6-8 hours per day in two hour intervals.
• Manual dexterity to handle tools and the ability to move 50 pounds are regularly required to perform routine functions.
• Vision must be sufficient to perform job functions as described above.
• Good eye hand coordination and good motor skills.

Job Conditions:

• Exposure on a regular basis to outdoor weather conditions.
• Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.
