Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with experience in moving long pieces and utilizing overhead cranes for loading and unloading. Items can be up to 50' in length and weigh up to 2 tons. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and proficient in operating heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport materials within the warehouse or manufacturing facility.
• Safely load and unload materials/products using an overhead crane, ensuring proper positioning and securing of loads.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper working condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow.
