Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a safety‑minded forklift operator to move and load products in a cold storage environment. You will operate electric-powered trucks, prepare pallets, and maintain daily equipment checks.

You will coordinate with truck drivers, document weights using RF systems, and participate in safety inspections. This on-site role requires flexibility, basic math, and willingness to work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in Lineage Logistics' official language.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided PPE and freezer gear.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times can be loud.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting devices under, over, or around pallets, transports, load and unload to designated areas.
• List materials and record weight, counts, and condition of frozen food items via an RF system.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand process.
• Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.

In this role, you'll safely operating electric-powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products and materials while following all company and regulatory safety standards. Success comes from being dependable, proactive, adaptable, and committed to supporting both customers and the team.

What you'll do

• Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, transports, load and unload to a designated area
• List materials and record weight, counts, and condition of frozen food items via a Radio Frequency (RF) system
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand process
• Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Pay Range:$16.97 - $28.65
