Job summary

Staffmark Group in Hebron, KY is hiring a Forklift Operator for all shifts on a temp-to-hire basis. You will safely operate forklifts to pick, load, unload, and transport goods, verify inbound/outbound shipments, and use RF scanners and a Warehouse Management System to keep inventory accurate.

Education and certifications: high school diploma or GED, 18+, ability to pass a basic math assessment, and current forklift certification. Experience: at least 2 years in a high-volume warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilize RF scanners and WMS to maintain inventory accuracy and track product movement.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a food-grade warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing facility.
• Strong attention to detail when verifying inventory, shipments, and product condition.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with team members.
• Commitment to workplace safety, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence.
• Flexibility to work overtime and adjust schedules as business needs require.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse where temperatures fluctuate seasonally.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Job Duties

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse associates to meet productivity and customer service goals.
• Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned by leadership.
