Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Forklift Operator in Hebron, OH, to safely move materials, support inventory flow, and ensure accurate shipping/receiving records. The role requires a minimum of 1 year sit-down forklift experience, with a standard forklift using 6-foot forks and RF scanning capabilities to track inventory.

• Complete shipping, receiving, and warehouse paperwork as required.
• Verify shipments and document inventory movement.
• Follow established safety procedures and report safety concerns or damaged materials.
• Maintain an organized work area and support daily warehouse operations.
• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient material flow and timely shipments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
