Job summary

Country Fresh Dairy is seeking a dependable warehouse worker for the 3rd shift in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves loading/unloading trailers, moving pallets, staging materials, and operating general warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow GMP and safety standards, document all activities clearly, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of products in trailers.
• Distribute pallets from palletizer to trailers and staging areas.

• Receive materials for warehouse storage and supply packaging materials.

Job description

Operate gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices, such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel 'hook fork' grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in a warehouse, storage yard, or facility.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute the loading and unloading of products in trailers
• Distribute pallets of product from the palletizer to distribution trailers and staging areas
• Stage materials for production
• Move product and materials within facility (plant and/or cooler)
• Receive materials for warehouse storage
• Supply packaging material, cartons, and hulls to line as needed
• Maintain pallet supply for palletizer
• Rotate packaging and ingredients using FIFO (First In – First Out)
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format, and completed with required information
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
