Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, located in North Carolina, is seeking an Equipment and Machine Operator to support inventory handling and order fulfillment. The role requires operating forklifts and loaders, inspecting equipment, and ensuring safe, organized work areas.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, with strong reading and communication skills for coordination with teams and drivers.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts with >18k lb capacity.
• Prior experience utilizing loaders preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate with team.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklift and loader to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment.
• Load customer trucks based on ship tickets.
• Push aggregate material utilizing a loader.
• Complete weekly equipment inspections.
• Keep area safe, clean and organized.
• Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
