Alsum Farms & Produce seeks two Forklift Operators to join our team on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will safely operate a forklift, inspect equipment, and maintain safety standards as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, and a valid driver's license. We value dependability, safety, and the ability to learn new systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

We have one opening on 1st shift and one opening on 2nd shift for individuals who take pride in working safely, efficiently, and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a forklift to move perishable products and supplies to the correct locations.
• Inspect forklift equipment regularly and report maintenance concerns.
• Stay alert to potential hazards and follow established safety procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of forklift operating procedures and required training.
• Work with the team to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Schedule - Monday through Friday

• 1st Shift - 6:00am to approximately 2:30pm
• 2nd Shift - 4:00pm to approximately 12:30am

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
• Good manual dexterity to safely perform job duties.
• Ability to work in an environment where exposure to airborne particles or fumes may occur.
• Ability to wear required safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas.
