Job summary

Alsum Farms & Produce Inc. is seeking two Forklift Operators to support our cold‑storage operations in Wisconsin. The roles are full‑time, on-site, with first and second shifts available.

You will operate a forklift safely, inspect equipment, and help move perishable products across the facility. We value reliability, safety, and teamwork. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, forklift certification is mandatory, and prior forklift experience is preferred.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move perishable products and supplies to the correct locations.

We have one opening on 1st shift and one opening on 2nd shift for individuals who take pride in working safely, efficiently, and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a forklift to move perishable products and supplies to the correct locations.
• Inspect forklift equipment regularly and report maintenance concerns.

• Work with the team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Schedule

Monday through Friday

• 1st Shift - 6:00am to approximately 2:30pm
• 2nd Shift - 4:00pm to approximately 12:30am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required. Candidates must be able to complete the required certification process.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
• Good manual dexterity to safely perform job duties.
• Ability to work in an environment where exposure to airborne particles or fumes may occur.
• Ability to wear required safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas.
