Location: Franklin, Massachusetts

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring Forklift Operators in Franklin, MA! The Forklift Operator, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, is responsible for operating specific power industrial vehicles for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise.

Responsibilities:

• Locate and load customer products onto and from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using powered industrial trucks and motorized equipment while following established procedures and safety requirements.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using forklifts, basaloids, clamp trucks, and other powered equipment.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Receive inbound shipments, unload products safely, and move inventory to designated storage locations.
• Efficiently move products from staging and storage areas into rail cars and trailers for shipment.
• Perform order picking duties efficiently while meeting customer service and productivity standards.
• Process customer orders for picking, receiving, put-away, and loading functions using RF scanners or manual processes.
• Identify damaged products and report shortages or quality issues promptly.
• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with prescribed work methods and company procedures.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Prior Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) experience preferred, including reach truck, forklift, order picker, and electric walkie rider equipment.
• Must successfully complete the Barrett training and certification program for company-operated Powered Industrial Vehicles.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and company manuals.
