The Forklift Operator safely and efficiently handles materials throughout a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility, using both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to support production and warehouse operations.
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility.
Handle materials safely and accurately to support production lines and warehouse operations.
Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods to designated storage and staging areas.
Perform basic inspections of forklifts before use and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
Follow established material handling procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
Adhere to all facility safety rules, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Work collaboratively with production and warehouse teams to meet operational deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Ability to operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.
Strong material handling skills, including loading, unloading, stacking, and staging materials.
Willingness to work any shift and remain completely open to shift scheduling.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting.

The environment involves physical activity, including standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods. Shift schedules may vary, and you must remain fully open to working any shift as needed to support production demands.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frankfort, KY.
The pay range for this position is $19.50 – $20.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
