Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Fayetteville, NC seeks a yard/ forklift operator to move, organize, and assist in producing precast concrete products of the highest quality. You will be part of a yard crew ensuring safe, efficient operations in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, and ability to work with loaders and read basic instructions. Physical lifting up to 40 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts with >18k lb. capacity preferred.
• Prior experience utilizing loaders preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklift and loader to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment.
• Load customer trucks based on ship tickets.
• Push aggregate material using a loader.
• Complete weekly equipment inspections.
• Keep area safe, clean and organized.
• Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel.

Job Summary

This individual will be part of a yard crew responsible for safely and efficiently moving, organizing and assisting in the production of precast concrete products of the highest quality standards.
