Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. in Fairwater, Wisconsin is seeking a Forklift Operator to support its shipping and receiving operations. You will be responsible for operating a forklift, transporting filled pallets, and adhering to safety standards while following daily instructions.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and demonstrate a commitment to safety and food quality. The position offers competitive wages ranging from $21 to $23 an hour, along with various benefits including health insurance and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Operate a forklift to transport filled pallets.
• Follow daily work instructions from the Packaging Supervisor/Lead.
• Conduct daily forklift safety inspections and report any equipment issues to supervisors.
• Support shipping and receiving operations, including loading/unloading trucks.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety.
• Report any food safety, health & safety, and quality issues.
• Adhere to all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Your daily role

You’ll invest the majority of your time in these key areas:

• Operate a forklift to transport filled pallets
• Follow daily work instructions from the Packaging Supervisor/Lead
• Conduct daily forklift safety inspections and report any equipment issues to supervisors
• Support shipping and receiving operations, including loading/unloading trucks
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety, and set a proper example at all times
• Report any food safety, health & safety, and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary
• Adhere to all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
