Job summary

Bunzl Retail Services is opening a new Warehouse in the Dallas area and is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to help establish and grow the location. The Operator will handle receiving, picking, packing, and stocking using Stand Up Forklift and Walkie Rider.

This full-time position offers a 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm with weekly pay at $20.00 per hour. OSHA certifications are required on hire, and overtime may be needed based on business demand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating powered industrial vehicles (PIV) in a warehouse.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (40–50 lbs) during shift.
• OT may be required on short notice.
• Must have OSHA certifications upon hire.
• Must understand written English.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders from shelves, place onto pallet, and load onto trailer.
• Operate an industrial forklift safely and responsibly.
• Retrieve and stack product using appropriate equipment.
• Use on-board computer and wireless RF system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist other warehouse workers as directed by the Warehouse Manager or supervisor.

Job description

Bunzl Retail Services is opening a new Warehouse in the Dallas area and are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to help us establish and grow our newest location! The Forklift Operator will perform a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The Equipment Operator will operate various equipment including Stand Up Forklift, and Walkie Rider.

Job Type: Full Time/ Regular

1st Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm

Monday-Friday

$20.00 per hour

Weekly Pay

Responsibilities:

• Select customer orders from shelves, place onto pallet, and load onto trailer
• Must operate an industrial forklift in a safe and responsible manner
• Must be able to retrieve and stack product safety use appropriate equipment
• Utilize an on-board computer and wireless radio frequency system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated and proven track record of proficiency on all powered industrial vehicle (PIV) equipment operated in the warehouse.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 40-50 lbs.) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift.
• Overtime is required based on business demands, sometimes on short notice.
• Previous warehouse equipment experience required
• Must be dependable and a team player.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand written English without translation
• Obtain all necessary certifications required by OSHA upon hire
