Job description

LINK Staffing has partnered with our client in Dallas (near Desoto) to hireStand-UpForklift Operators.This company is an established leader in home improvement retail, offering competitive pay and room for growth. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high volume DC, loading/unloading containers using Stand-Up Forklifts and have a reliable work history.Immediate openings are available to start as soon as next week.

CLIMATE CONTROLLED DISTRIBUTION CENTER

Shift Times:

• Key 2: Monday - Thursday 4:30PM - 3:00AM

• Key 3: Friday – Sunday 5:00AM – 5:30PM

Pay:$17.50/HR

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials from trucks or containers using the Stand-Up Forklift (Crown Dock-Stocker)
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate shipment counts
- Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and adhere to OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to prioritize tasks and meet production goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a fast paced distribution center or warehouse environment operating Stand-Up Forklift equipment
- Familiarity with RF scanners for receiving and inventory tracking purposes
-Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time (Prolonged Standing, Walking & Bending)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
