XPO is seeking an Equipment Operator with concrete experience for its Dallas, TX projects. The role focuses on operating heavy machinery to support site preparation, grading, excavation and concrete placement, ensuring production quality and safety.

The candidate should have 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, concrete project exposure, and the ability to read site plans. OSHA certification and a valid driver’s license are preferred for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Experience on concrete projects (foundations, slabs, footings, utilities) preferred.
• Ability to read site plans, grade stakes, and layouts.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (exca-vators, skid steers, loaders, backhoes) safely and efficiently.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling for concrete projects.
• Assist with site prep for foundations, slabs, footings, and flatwork.
• Support concrete crews during forming, pouring, and placement operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and site plans.
• Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain grade and alignment.
• Load, move, and place materials safely on site.
• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Keep job site clean and organized.

Equipment Operator (Concrete Experience Required)

Location: Dallas, Texas

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $25 - $30 per hour (DOE)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator with concrete experience to support our concrete and civil construction projects. This role involves operating heavy equipment to assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and concrete placement. The ideal candidate has solid field experience and understands how equipment operation impacts concrete quality and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, and backhoes safely and efficiently
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling for concrete projects
• Assist with site prep for foundations, slabs, footings, and flatwork
• Support concrete crews during forming, pouring, and placement operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans
• Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance of equipment
