Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator in Coppell, TX. You will safely operate powered industrial equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products for timely shipping and receiving. You will use scanners, print labels, and manage inventory records, while performing paperwork and cycle counts as needed.

The role requires at least two years of forklift experience, a license or ability to obtain one, and strong detail and teamwork. A high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have forklift operating experience and be licensed or able to obtain a license.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and labeling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a safety-focused warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products.
  • Load, unload, and stack goods for shipping and receiving.
  • Scan products, print labels, and update inventory records.
  • Complete paperwork and perform cycle counts as required.
  • Adhere to safety inspections and SQFI/FDA/customer requirements.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for utilizing the lift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.FunctionsSafely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as standard sit-down or stand-up forklifts, clamp, and picker equipment.Load, unload, and store products and/or materialsStack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.Use equipment to scan product and print labels.Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.Complete cycle count as requiredPerform daily safely inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucksEnsure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.May perform housekeeping dutiesMiscellaneous tasks as assigned by SupervisorQualificationsMinimum two years prior forklift operating experience.
