Job Description

FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Forklift Operator for a company based in Columbus, MS. Your role will contribute to the growth of one of North America's fastest-growing warehouse and logistics companies.

Pay Rate
$15.50 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.

Responsibilities

1. Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
2. Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
3. Transport materials within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy.
4. Inspect and maintain forklifts, reporting issues promptly.
5. Follow safety regulations at all times, including wearing PPE and securing loads.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification from a recognized training program.
• Proficiency with various forklifts, including counterbalance, reach, and pallet jacks.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operating instructions.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy loads.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
