Job Description

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for a company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves responsibilities such as shipping/receiving, product storage, and delivery setup.

Pay Rate: $16.32 per hour

Schedule and Hours:

• 1st Shift: 6am – 2:30pm
• 2nd Shift: 2:00pm – 10:20pm
• 3rd Shift: 10:00pm – 6:30am

Working days are Monday – Saturday with varying days.

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety compliance according to company policy.
• Process orders by accurately pulling materials and preparing them for customer pickup or delivery, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintain inventory controls to reduce material damage and ensure order accuracy.
• Organize and manage warehouse bin locations.
• Maintain high standards of customer service while managing equipment maintenance and efficient loading of trucks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Self-management, initiative, and proactive behavior.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs frequently and move within the warehouse; must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.
• Effective problem-solving and task prioritization skills.
• Ability to multitask, receive and convey accurate information, and provide prompt solutions.
