Job summary

Worley Warehousing Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator to keep products moving and orders accurate. You’ll operate forklifts and related equipment, load and unload goods, and ensure safe handling in a dynamic warehouse environment.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with overtime possibility. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $25.00 per hour in the first year through incentives and progression.

Qualifications

Work Schedule

What You'll Do

As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a key role in keeping products moving and ensuring customer orders are handled with care.

• Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment while following established safety procedures.
• Load, unload, transport, and store products throughout the warehouse.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for accurate and timely shipment.
• Inspect shipments, verify product quantities, and report damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Meet individual productivity and performance expectations while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate all job-required equipment in a safe manner following prescribed work methods.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailer or rail cars.

Education:

• High school diploma preferred.
