Job summary

Staffmark in Carson, CA is seeking a Forklift Operator for a daytime M-F 8:00am-4:30pm shift. You will safely operate clamp and sit-down forklifts to load/unload, move and stage products, and support shipping/receiving in a fast-paced warehouse.

Ideal candidates are forklift certified with clamp/sit-down experience, a valid driver's license, and a strong focus on safety and inventory accuracy. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k). Competitive weekly pay.

• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.

What You Will Do

As a Forklift Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations.
