Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. is hiring an Operator- Forklift ERC to handle movement, unpacking, packing and cleaning of equipment or supplies. You will operate a forklift, verify inventory, stack loads, and ensure daily safety inspections are completed on schedule.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety policies, reliable attendance, and ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment. Training and onboarding are provided as part of career growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move, unpack, pack and clean equipment or supplies.
• Verify incoming and outgoing products and materials.
• Stack loads properly and perform daily forklift inspections.
• Rotate product/materials and organize equipment.
• Coordinate with Dispatch/Asset Clerk on inbound/outbound goods.
• Follow management-assigned duties as needed.

Job Description

The Operator- Forklift ERC is responsible for various tasks with moving, unpacking, packing, and cleaning equipment or supplies.

What your day will look like:

• Operation of Forklift
• Verify all product/full goods/raw materials incoming and outgoing
• Stack loads properly
• Perform daily forklift inspections
• Correctly rotate product/materials
• Organizes capital equipment into different areas, bins, or locations
• Operates handheld for various tasks
• Works with Dispatch/Asset Clerk on inbound/outbound equipment
• Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience driving forklift preferred
• Ability to work with all functional team members

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
