Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking an Operator - Forklift ERC to move, unpack, pack, and clean equipment. You will operate a forklift, verify incoming/outgoing products, and stack loads safely.

The role requires a minimum age 18, English reading/writing ability, a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), and PPE compliance. Forklift experience is preferred; attendance and teamwork are essential.

• Regular and prompt attendance is essential
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• High school diploma or GED; or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience driving forklift preferred

Responsibilities

• Operation of Forklift
• Verify all product/full goods/raw materials incoming and outgoing
• Stack loads properly
• Perform daily forklift inspections
• Correctly rotate product/materials
• Organizes capital equipment into different areas, bins, or locations
• Operates handheld for various tasks
• Works with Dispatch/Asset Clerk on inbound/outbound equipment
• Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

Job Description

The Operator- Forklift ERC is responsible for various tasks with moving, unpacking, packing, and cleaning equipment or supplies.

What your day will look like:

• Operation of Forklift
• Verify all product/full goods/raw materials incoming and outgoing
• Stack loads properly
• Perform daily forklift inspections

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
