Job summary

Altium Packaging in Argos, Indiana is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to load and unload materials, stack and move products, and support production lines.

You will operate a forklift safely, ensure GMP compliance, monitor inventory, and help prepare shipments while following our safety standards.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a current OSHA forklift certification; overtime may be required to meet business needs.

Location Address:300 Dewey Street, Argos, Indiana 46501Work Shift:12hr - C Shift 7a-7:30p Argos (United States of America)The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials as well as following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agenciesLoad trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirementsLoad and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting deviceMonitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materialsWeigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedulesKeep production lines supplied with raw materialsInventory product as needed. And label, sort, wrap and tie productUnload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting deviceOther duties as assigned by managementReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.Minimum Requirements:Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Current OSHA forklift driving certificationThe requirements listed above are minimum requirements for the job.
