Job summary

Conagra Brands in Archbold, Ohio is seeking a forklift operator/warehouse associate to receive orders for supplies, move materials with a forklift, and ensure production lines stay stocked to support efficient manufacturing. You will perform inspections, manage inventory transactions, and help maintain a safe, clean work environment while adhering to food safety and quality standards.

Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential, and overtime may be required to meet production demands.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules and work orders to prepare materials and support daily production requirements.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and safely operate material handling equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Retrieve, scan, transport, and stage raw materials and production supplies from warehouse and freezer locations.
• Maintain production flow by ensuring lines are supplied with appropriate ingredients and materials throughout the shift.
• Accurately complete material tracking and inventory transactions to support inventory control and product traceability.
• Inspect pallets and materials for quality concerns and remove damaged items from service.
• Return unused materials to designated warehouse or freezer storage locations.
• Clean, secure, and maintain assigned equipment and work areas to support a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Shift: 2:45 PM-11:00 PM Hourly Rate: $25.51 an hour + $.75 shift differential

Reporting to the Team Lead, you will receive orders for supplies from production lines, obtain raw materials and supplies from the warehouse using a forklift, and transport them to the appropriate line to help ensure the efficient flow of the production process. You will support production operations by safely handling materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring production lines remain supplied while adhering to food safety, quality, and operational standards.

• Must have or be able to obtain forklift certification; previous forklift experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated teamwork, reliability, and willingness to work overtime as needed to support production demands.

Physical Requirements

Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include: Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. Performing consistent repetitive tasks. Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
