The core responsibilities of this role include:

1. Operating a high-reach forklift to move full pallets of product throughout the warehouse efficiently and safely.
2. Ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of inventory with minimal manual lifting.
3. Following site procedures and safety protocols at all times.

Position Details:

• Position: Forklift Operator
• Shift: Weekend shift 5 PM – 5 AM, Friday - Sunday
• Pay: $20.50 an hour + $1.25 shift premium

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven ability to operate high-reach forklifts safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to teamwork and safety.
• Availability to complete mandatory training during the first two weeks, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Role Purpose:

Our Forklift Operators move stock within the warehouse, load and unload shipments, and may operate various types of forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. You will be an essential part of everyday life by moving products that people need and want.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using various forklifts or power equipment.
2. Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy.
3. Maintain inventory records and reports.
4. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
5. Verify load accuracy and report variances.
6. Change equipment batteries or LP tanks as needed.
7. Maintain equipment and facility cleanliness.
8. Assist in inventories.
9. Perform daily equipment inspections.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• Forklift certification or completion of a forklift training program within 30 days.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.
