Job description

Responsibilities include:

1. Conveying materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
2. Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
3. Storing perishable goods in refrigerated rooms or freezers.
4. Responding to requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributing them to production workers or the assembly line.
5. Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves, or conveying orders to packing or shipping departments.
6. Marking materials with identifying information and recording quantities received or distributed.
7. Utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to reflect production, shipping, receiving, and inventory data.
8. Completing documentation for shipping finished products and receiving raw materials, in accordance with SOPs.
9. Performing trailer inspections and related documentation accurately and timely.
10. Monitoring job tasks to ensure food safety and quality, reporting concerns promptly.
11. Weighing or counting items for distribution to ensure conformance to standards.
12. Arranging stock materials in specified sequences for assembly.
13. Driving vehicles to transport stored items within the warehouse or to other locations.
14. Preparing samples or parcels for mailing.
15. Following policies, procedures, and proper use of equipment and materials.
16. Observing safety and security procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
17. Maintaining inventory records and performing cycle counts as needed.

Qualifications include willingness to operate various forklifts, a high school diploma or GED, or 6-12 months related experience. Forklift certification must be obtained within 7 days of hire.
