The core responsibilities of this role include: case-picking/order selecting by hand up to 45lbs. on a sit-down forklift.

Position Details:

• Position: Forklift Operator
• Shift: 2nd shift Mon - Thurs 6:00PM - 4:00AM
• Pay: $19.00 + $0.75 Shift Differential
• Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible for monthly performance and referral bonuses!

The ideal candidate will also possess skills and experience in sit-down forklift operation, general labor, and quality control.

The first week of mandatory orientation will be held on-site from Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm.

Role Purpose:

Our Forklift Operators are responsible for moving stock within our warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, and operating equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. You will be an essential part of everyday life at DHL.

Key Accountabilities:

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using various forklifts or other power equipment (80% of shift)
• Prepare products for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and types are loaded
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reports
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load accuracy, check for damage, and report variances
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources
• Keep equipment and materials organized and clean
• Assist with physical inventories
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Forklift operator certification or completion of a forklift training program within 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six months warehouse experience preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience
