Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Transportation Coordinator for Atlanta Gatorade. You will oversee all key transportation tasks for the Distribution Center, driving scheduling excellence from day one.

You’ll work cross-functionally to resolve issues, ensure on-time delivery, and build strong carrier relationships across the PepsiCo network. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
• Experience using WMS, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Experience leading or coordinating operational teams in a distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Ability to analyze operational data, track performance metrics, and support process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Route Orders daily in compliance with the transportation route guide; meet ship dates and secure carrier capacity.
• Track carrier performance and troubleshoot loads at risk of missing dates.
• Ensure all orders comply with PepsiCo guidelines on weight and shipment method.
• Schedule outbound/inbound shipments with carriers and dock capacity scheduling.
• Collaborate with COE, Warehouse, and Transportation on scheduling issues and daily execution.

Responsibilities

As the Warehouse Transportation Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in driving operational excellence, team development, and support all aspects of the Inbound/Outbound Dock Schedule. Your responsibilities will include:

Leadership & Team Development

• Communicate with all transport carriers, utilizing high‑level planning and performance management.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Solve day‑to‑day transportation challenges and achieve long‑term goals with scheduling.

Inventory & Process Management

• Leverage PGT and Spotlight Optimization tools to enhance scheduling and product availability.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies, including safety, transportation, accounting, and purchasing.

Customer Service & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Ensure on‑time delivery aligned with Requested/Scheduled Arrival Dates.
• Build strong relationships across the Power of One network, including PBC bottlers, Co‑Packers, Repacker, PBNA/PFNA COE’s, and MFG.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve operational issues and deliver exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do:

• Route Orders daily in compliance with the transportation route guide; ensuring timely execution to meet the requested ship date and secure carrier capacity ahead of the competition.
• Track carrier performance and troubleshoot any loads that may be at risk of missing requested arrival date.
• Ensure all new orders comply with PepsiCo. guidelines on weight and method of shipment.
• Work with carriers to schedule all assigned outbound and inbound shipments to our facility.
• Schedule appointments on all loads; working with the campus manager and third‑party facility manager on dock capacity scheduling.
• Work with all carriers on daily execution.
• Work with on‑site Transportation to deliver daily and weekly measurables.
• Work with COE (Center of Excellence), and the service team on scheduling issues.
• Work with COE, Warehouse, and Transportation on loads not scheduled by end of period.
• Maintain reason code input within SAP for open order status reporting.
• Review previous day’s dock schedule to ensure all orders shipped, if not ensure timely reschedule.
• Collaborate with the shipping office regarding specific shipment requirements.
• Accountable for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance on the Overdue Mill Transit Receipts Report and Shipment Status Report.
• Ownership of daily, weekly, period service metrics as they relate to the role.
• Will be cross trained to support other service center functions.
• All other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,900 - $73,250.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a results‑driven leader with a passion for operations and innovation. The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
• Experience using warehouse and transportation management systems (WMS, SAP, or similar platforms).
• Experience leading or coordinating operational teams in a distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Ability to analyze operational data, track performance metrics, and support process improvement initiatives.
• Occasional travel required (less than 10%).
