Job summary

PepsiCo in Kailua, Hawaii seeks a Warehouse Site Leader to oversee frontline teams, safety, and inventory across shifts, and to drive continuous improvement in operations.

This role requires Lean Six Sigma experience, forklift certification, and the ability to manage budget, schedule, and cross-functional collaboration with DSD and Sales.

You will develop leaders, ensure on-time deliveries, and maintain quality, while supporting cost efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Continuous improvement experience (Lean Six Sigma, TPM, lean manufacturing) demonstrated by a major project.
  • Five years of operations/logistics or supply chain experience preferred with two or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Ability to lead a team-based decision-making approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor others.
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills.
  • Must have indefinite right to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage frontline employees.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and aligning with legal regulations.
  • Maintain quality standards of finished product.
  • Drive development of future frontline leaders.
  • Work with DSD delivery teams.
  • Ensure smooth and timely delivery of product for the Sales organization.
  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans.
  • Review and prepare action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.
  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Build people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel.
  • Develop and motivate team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals with the DSD team.
  • Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact.
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues.
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements.
  • Improve the site's false out of stock score.
  • Develop and implement warehouse operations system improvements by leading continuous improvement projects and analyzing workflow, manning, and space.
  • Troubleshoot all receiving and shipping complaints to find the cause, resolve issues, and prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain regular presence on the plant floor.
  • Regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Regularly operate forklift and manufacturing equipment.
  • Occasionally work off-shift and weekends.

Job description

Overview

As a Warehouse Site Leader, you'll contribute to the success of a warehouse location for PBNA by coordinating the receiving, shipping, and material handling responsibilities in the warehouse. You'll design and develop product movement and storage systems, improve operations, and support the front line staff. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for the full warehouse business unit across all shifts. You'll be responsible for managing numerous shifts in either a union or non-union environment and developing a team of frontline employees. When needed, or when there are not active leadership tasks to be completed, you’ll engage in other warehouse work as well, to include picking, forklift operation, cleaning, etc.

Travel Requirement: 5%

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $54,700 - $82,050.
