Job summary

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience, formal certification in MHE/forklift repair, and the ability to document work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing forklift equipment and/or MHE, via certification or documented OJT.
• MHE/Forklift Technician certification from OEM or recognized program preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to complete routine preventative maintenance and inspections independently.
• Proficient with power and hand tools; basic computer skills for work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on forklifts and MHE per manufacturer specs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems on MHE.
• Document work performed, parts used, and equipment condition in maintenance systems.
• Support safety, reliability, and uptime improvement initiatives.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized work area.
