Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience diagnosing, maintaining and repairing forklifts and/or aerial equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulic and electrical systems (preferred).
• Experience using diagnostic software to troubleshoot faults.
• Good communication skills and professionalism when working with customers.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Job description

We are looking for a career orientated individual within a reasonable distance of Altoona to become an integral Road Service Forklift Technician on our Dealerships team.

This role involves diagnosing repairing and maintaining forklifts and other material-handling equipment including lift trucks aerial equipment pallet jacks counterbalance forklifts and small industrial machinery. Experience working on electric propane and diesel-powered units and those with strong knowledge of hydraulics electrical systems and AC drive systems will be given preference. Technicians will be compensated port to port out of a well-equipped take-home service vehicle. Possession of a clean and valid drivers license. This position offers a long-term stable career with growth potential.

Compensation

• Up to $35.00hour to start (based on experience)
